LETS TALK ABOUT PAINTING SKIES !

PAINT SKIES - IT WILL DEFINITELY CALM YOUR MIND !

   As we look at the sky , it feels very calm to see those beautiful white clouds beautiful colors of the sky like blues , pinks , oranges , purples ,etc. Most of the time we observe sky of blue color , blue color itself indicates calmness. So why not we try painting that beautiful blue colored beautiful sky with our favorite flowers !

          In this blog I am gonna tell you some steps to paint skies and relax your mind ! Before that I am gonna tell you some things you require for painting . NO , I AM NOT GONNA TELL YOU THAT YOU SHOULD USE EXPENSIVE STUFF ONLY ! , u can use local stationery things also. 

Here are some things you require to paint ;

              1. Paper [ you can use blank xerox paper but its too thin so u cannot use much water on that , so its a good choice to use paper from drawing book that you or your siblings may use in school ]

              2. Brush for painting [ you can use any brush round or flat , but try to use smaller one to make flowers and if you have very old brush whose strands are scattered, you can use it for making clouds , it gives nice effect of clouds ]   

               3. Colors [you can use water colors , poster colors , acrylic colors any type you have . I personally use poster colors most of the times ]    

                   Here I am mentioning the camel poster color shades with their shade                              number which I use to paint skies! 

                        - PEACOCK BLUE [307]

                        - SKY BLUE [177]

                        - WHITE 

                        - LEMON YELLOW [121]         

                        - ORANGE [283]

                        - PINK [341]        

                        -  VIOLET [451]

                        - POSTER GREEN [345]            

        THIS COLORS I USE TO PAINT 90% OF THE TIME . HOWEVER YOU CAN USE WATERCOLORS ALSO !

               4. Container with water 

 Now lets see the steps of painting beautiful skies !          

STEP 1 :  First we have to decide that how big or small the sky should be in our painting . It is totally your choice , but I will suggest that take 60% part of the paper for sky and 40% part for grass and flowers . If you want you can do 50-50 % also . Then take light blue or sky blue color mix some water in it and start painting the sky . While painting with blue take little white also , so that sky will not look boring . 

STEP 2 :  Now paint the remaining portion with medium green color . Then make strokes by darker green and then lighter green also . After that make some flowers of your choice and you grass part is done !

STEP 3 : Now its time to paint the HERO of the painting - CLOUDS ! Now you have to use your old brush and then with the help of white color you have to dab and make clouds . Make sure you do not use so much white color at a time . Plus , make sure that blue color is 90% dried . Then again by dabbing , give another layer to the clouds but this time with more concentrated white . 

   AND VIOLA` WE JUST PAINTED BEAUTIFUL SKY PAINTING IN JUST 3 EASY STEPS !
